Las Vegas, NV March 28, 2017 – Digital Signage Expo (DSE), the world’s largest international trade show and educational conference dedicated to digital displays, interactive technology and digital communications networks, announced the independently judged winners of its APEX Awards for 2017 at the 13th Annual APEX Awards Ceremony, Wednesday, March 29 at the Renaissance Hotel.
AVI-SPL and Razorfish took home the gold in the retail category and won the coveted Installation of the Year award for the NanoLumens display at T-Mobile’s Time Square flagship store. NanoLumens installs by Dimensional Innovations at Hy-Vee and the display at Miami International Airport won silver awards in the Business & Government Services and Transportation categories, respectively.
This year Gold, Silver and Bronze DSE 2017 APEX Awards were presented to winners in nine categories from a field of 138 entrants. The awards were individually assessed and judged on the basis of originality and innovation by 10 industry experts and journalists, all of whom have long reported on the digital signage sector, have published on the many facets of the industry, and are recognized as versant in current industry trends.
The APEX Awards were created to recognize innovation in digital display & interactive technology installations and the creation of compelling viewer content.
